The four ways forwarders lose customers.

Enquiries die in your inbox

A new shipper emails you, three days pass, your competitor already quoted. The lead is lost before sales even saw it.

Quotes recreated from scratch

No templates, no margin discipline. Every quote is a copy-paste from last week’s Excel — wrong cargo, wrong port, embarrassing.

Status pings every day

“Where’s my cargo?” on WhatsApp, all day. Your ops team can’t do real work because they’re typing the same answer.

Repeat shippers feel like first-timers

A returning customer fills out the same form. Sales doesn’t know they shipped 12 times last year. No memory, no loyalty.

Every customer touchpoint, in one place.

Cocoroute owns the layer your shipper sees — enquiry, quote, tracking, invoice — and the operational layer your team works in. They’re the same data, not two systems pretending to sync.

01

Customer Inbox

Enquiries land, KYC-verified, auto-routed to a sales person who owns them. No more “who’s following up?”.

First response time drops 3 days → 2 hours.
02

Quoting Studio

Templates, AI-suggested rates from your own shipment history, profit-margin visible while you build the quote. Your sales team prices like a senior every time.

Quote turnaround: 2 days → 2 hours.
03

Shipment Tracking

Auto-pulled from Shipsgo. Multi-leg milestones. Your shipper sees the same timeline you see — same data, same source of truth.

Daily “where’s my cargo” pings: −80%.
04

Finance Loop

Invoice + payment + credits flow back to the customer record. Repeat shipments get priced from real cost — the data closes the loop.

Margin visibility on every quote.

A 90-second walkthrough — no signup.

6 hotspot-annotated steps — enquiry to repeat business. Use ← → arrows to navigate. Close any time.

Honest fit-check.

We’d rather you self-select out than spend a week of your time in a sales process that ends in “we’re going with Cargowise instead.”

Right fit
  • Forwarders shipping 50+ TEU per month
  • Sea, Air, or Multi-modal
  • Teams of 5–500 people
  • Currently on Excel + Outlook OR a legacy TMS you’re ready to retire
  • You care about how the customer experiences your service
Wrong fit
  • Single-truck domestic haulage
  • Pure last-mile delivery
  • One-person shop with no team to onboard
  • You’re happy with the way Cargowise looks
  • Customer experience is somebody else’s problem

From signup to first shipment — 4 weeks.

WEEK 1

Discovery + data import

We walk through your current workflow, import your customer + rate history from Excel or your TMS, and configure your invoice templates.

WEEK 2

Branding + integrations

Your colours, logo, and email templates go live. Shipsgo + carrier connections are wired. Sales team starts dry-running quotes in the staging org.

WEEK 3

Team trained · go live

Two 90-minute training sessions: sales + ops. First real enquiries land. Your dedicated onboarding lead is online for every question.

WEEK 4

First closed shipment

Enquiry → quote → shipment → invoice → payment end-to-end, all in Cocoroute. Your team owns the workflow from this point.

Common questions from forwarders.

Does Cocoroute replace my TMS (Cargowise / Magaya)?

No — Cocoroute sits alongside your TMS and owns the customer-facing layer: enquiries, quotations, customer chat, shipment tracking visible to shippers, and finance. We integrate where it makes sense (Shipsgo for live tracking, more carrier APIs coming). If you don’t have a TMS today, Cocoroute is enough for most forwarders shipping under 500 TEU/month.

Do you integrate with Shipsgo / live carrier tracking?

Yes — Shipsgo is wired in today. Container, BL, and booking-number tracking all auto-pull. We’re adding more carrier APIs (CMA CGM, Maersk, ONE) over the next two quarters. If you need a specific one prioritised, tell us when you book the demo.

How is my data isolated from other forwarders on Cocoroute?

Per-tenant database scoping — every row is tagged with your organisation ID and the API enforces it at the controller layer. We’re ISO 27001 + AEO certified. Backups are encrypted; production data never leaves Cocoroute systems. SOC 2 Type II is in progress for Q3 2026.

What does it cost?

Per-seat for your team + a small per-shipment fee on top. Pricing scales sensibly: a 5-person forwarder pays substantially less than a 50-person one. We’ll quote you a specific number on the demo based on your team size and monthly volume — no surprise upgrades, no “contact sales for enterprise” wall.

Can I self-host Cocoroute on my own infrastructure?

Cloud-only today. Self-host adds operational complexity that most forwarders don’t want — we run hardened multi-region infra so you don’t have to. If you’re a regulated enterprise that genuinely needs on-prem, talk to us during the demo and we’ll see what we can do.

How do I migrate from Cargowise / Magaya / spreadsheets?

Week 1 of onboarding is dedicated to migration. We import customer records, historical rates, open shipments, and outstanding invoices from your current system. Excel + CSV is the most common starting point and the easiest. For Cargowise/Magaya we use their export tools then map to our schema. No downtime — your old system stays live until you’re ready to switch.
