01How it worksSix stops · one record

Six stops, three desks, one record.

Enquiry → Quote → Booking → Operations → Invoice → P&L. Sales, operations, finance and the customer read the same record; what one desk enters, the next desk inherits.

Each role gets its own workspace. The record underneath is the same.

Ops doesn't see margin. Finance doesn't see routing notes. The customer sees a clean, branded view of their shipment. What follows are highlights; every workspace has more screens than we show here, and the demo opens all of them.

Enquiry queue with an owner on every row

New enquiries land verified and KYC-gated, assigned to a sales person, with the clock on the response. Nobody asks "who's following up?".

Owner · verification · response clock, on every row

And more in this workspacePrice review queue · Forwarder directory · Shipper records with KYC · Sales scorecard and commission · Enquiry edit history. The demo shows all of it.
03Why forwarders switchEach line maps to a screen

Forwarding was never meant to live in forty browser tabs.

Email threads, WhatsApp groups, a shared spreadsheet and a separate accounting tool. Each of these questions has a place in CocoRoute where it stops being asked.

1
“Who's following up on that enquiry?”The lead sat in an inbox for three days. A competitor quoted first.
Enquiry queue with an owner on every row and a verification gate before the first quote goes out.Sales › Enquiry queue
2
“What's our margin on this one?”The quote was rebuilt from last week's Excel. Profit is a guess until the vendor bills arrive.
Quotation builder on partner-forwarder rates, with the cost baseline and margin visible while you type.Sales › Quotations
3
“Where's my cargo?”All day, on WhatsApp. Ops types the same answer while the real work waits.
Milestones and carrier events on one timeline the customer can open themselves.Ops › Active shipments · Customer › Tracking
4
“Which version of the B/L is this?”Drafts ping-pong by email. The consignee change is in someone's sent folder.
Draft → customer approves in the portal → confirm. Every amendment is a numbered revision with a note.Ops › Bills of lading
5
“Did we make money on that job?”Known at month-end, if ever. Costs in a sheet, invoices in the accounting tool.
Job P&L the day it closes. Vendor bills and cargo costs land on the job, not in a folder.Finance › Job profit
6
“Whose leg is it now?”Multi-leg jobs get lost between desks. The second leg starts when someone remembers.
Route plan with a leg owner and a handoff queue that pages the next desk.Ops › Route plan · Pending handoffs
7
“Which WhatsApp group was that in?”The rate is in one group, the B/L in another, the customer's approval in a private chat. A week later nobody can find any of it.
Messaging that feels like WhatsApp and lives on the shipment. A group chat for every job with sales, ops and finance in it. A direct chat with each customer where quotes, documents and approvals are shared inside the thread. Internal notes the customer never sees. Attachments, unread counts, and every message kept on the job it belongs to, so the answer is always one scroll away.Messages › Shipment thread · Customer chat · Internal notes

08We set it up with youFour weeks

Provisioning takes minutes. Moving your team takes weeks. We do both.

Nobody emails you a login link and wishes you luck. Your company exists on CocoRoute in about five minutes; the next four weeks are about your people.

WEEK 1Discovery and import

We map your workflow and import customers, rate history, open shipments and outstanding invoices from Excel or your current system. Roles, number formats and milestone templates are set before anyone logs in.

WEEK 2Branding and integrations

Your logo and invoice format on every PDF, your sending domain on every email, tracking wired. Sales dry-runs quotes on real enquiries.

WEEK 3Training and go-live

Two 90-minute sessions, sales and ops, then finance. First real enquiries land, with your onboarding lead in a shared channel.

WEEK 4First closed shipment

Enquiry → quote → shipment → invoice → payment, end to end. Your old system stays live until you say otherwise.

09Common questionsAsked on most first calls
Q1Is my data separate from other forwarders on CocoRoute?

Yes. Your company's workspace is completely separated from other customers, with its own data, users and configuration, at yourcompany.cocoroute.co. Technically that is a dedicated database and sign-in per organisation. Support access is time-boxed, read-only and logged in your own audit log.

Q2Does it replace my TMS or my accounting tool?

CocoRoute brings shipment operations, invoicing, vendor bills, VAT, payments and job profitability into one system. It exports CSV from every finance screen and posts events to webhooks for anything downstream. There is no Cargowise or Magaya integration today; if you need one, say so on the demo.

Q3What tracking is built in?

Shipsgo container, bill-of-lading and booking-number tracking, on the shipment and per leg on multi-leg routes. Events land on the milestone timeline your customer can see.

Q4How long does go-live take?

Provisioning your company takes minutes. Moving your team takes two to four weeks: import, branding, two training sessions, first closed job. Your old system stays live until you switch.

Q5What does it cost?

Per company, based on team size and monthly volume. We quote it on the demo rather than guess it here.

Q6Can I try it before talking to anyone?

Yes. The demo workspace above is a full demo forwarder with real screens and seeded data, reset every night. Nothing you do there sends email to anyone.

Q7Where is it hosted, and can I self-host?

Managed Postgres and application containers in the Singapore region, with point-in-time backups. Cloud only; self-hosting is not offered.

10Request a demoReply within one business day

Thirty minutes. Your shipments, on our screen.

Bring one real job and one real supplier invoice. We'll run both through CocoRoute end to end, and you'll know by the end whether this is for you.

  • A price for your team size and volume, on the call
  • Demo access included with our reply
