Clause 01

What these terms cover

These terms apply to this website, the free tools on it, and the public demo workspace. They are an agreement between you and CocoLabs OÜ, which builds and operates CocoRoute (“we”, “us”). By using any of them you accept these terms.

If your company subscribes to CocoRoute Your use of your own workspace is governed by the agreement your company signed with us. Where that agreement and these terms differ, the agreement wins.

If you reached a workspace run by a freight forwarder, for example their customer portal or tracking page, your relationship is with that forwarder and their terms apply to the services they provide you.

Clause 02

The demo workspace

The demo is a full copy of the application with sample data, open to anyone, so you can try it before talking to us.

  • It is shared. Other visitors can see and change what you enter.
  • It is erased and rebuilt every night, and may be reset at any other time without notice.
  • It sends no email. Quotations, invoices and notifications created there go nowhere.
  • Do not enter real personal data, real customer data, or anything confidential.
  • Do not use it to run a real business. Nothing in it is kept.
Clause 03

Free tools and guides

The rate estimator, the cargo advisor, the glossary and the guides are general information to help you plan. An estimate is not a quotation and nobody is bound by it. The guides are not legal, customs, tax or insurance advice. Rules differ by country and change; confirm anything that matters with your forwarder, broker or the authority concerned.

Clause 04

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break the law, or infringe anyone’s rights, using the website or the demo;
  • attempt to get into any workspace, account or system you have not been given access to;
  • probe, scan or load-test the service without our written permission;
  • upload malware, or use automated means to submit forms or scrape the application;
  • copy, resell or reverse engineer the software, except where the law says that right cannot be taken away.

We may block access that breaks these rules. If you have found a security problem, please tell us at hello@cocoroute.co before telling anyone else, and give us reasonable time to fix it.

Clause 05

Ownership

The software, the website, its text, designs and the CocoRoute name and logo belong to us or our licensors. You may view and share pages of this website for your own business purposes. Nothing here transfers any ownership to you.

What you send us in a demo request or as feedback remains yours. You allow us to use feedback to improve the product without owing you anything for it.

Clause 06

No warranty on the free parts

The website, the free tools and the demo are provided as they are, without charge and without any promise that they will be available, accurate or fit for a particular purpose. Screens and figures shown on the website illustrate the product; your own workspace will reflect your own data and settings.

Clause 07

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost business or lost data arising from your use of the website, the free tools or the demo. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

What we owe a subscribing customer is set out in that customer’s agreement, not here.

Clause 08

Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and continued use means you accept it. If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.

These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which CocoLabs OÜ is registered, and its courts have jurisdiction, unless the law where you live gives you a right that says otherwise.
